Revolutionising sustainable children's clothing through rental innovation

Eve Kekeh is the founder of Bundlee, the UK’s first rental subscription service for baby clothes. After witnessing how quickly her younger siblings outgrew their clothes, she developed a circular solution that allows parents to rent and swap clothes as their babies grow. A Masters in Enterprise graduate from the University of Manchester, Eve’s passion lies in reducing waste through innovative business models.

As babies outgrow clothes quickly, it’s “the fastest fashion” of all. In the UK alone, 180 million outgrown baby clothes sit unused in homes, highlighting the waste created by traditional consumption. Bundlee’s rental model addresses this by extending product lifespan by 400% while saving parents 75% compared to buying new. The service has completed nearly 100,000 clothing rentals, saving over 200,000 kg of CO2e and 30 million litres of water.

“Sustainability is at the core of our model and the reason Bundlee was born. By extending the lifespan of baby products, we want to create a better future for babies to grow into,” says Eve.

Her achievements include selection for Forbes 30 Under 30, being named London Sustainability Entrepreneur of the Year, and securing partnerships with major brands.

“Being a Women in Innovation Award winner is validation that my work is having an impact and I’m excited to inspire other women to enter the innovation space,” says Eve.

“The biggest barrier I had to overcome as a woman in innovation was raising investment in the UK, where women founders still receive a disproportionately small share of funding,” Eve reflects. “I focused on building a strong pitch and gathering evidence of the traction and impact of Bundlee.”

Her advice to aspiring innovators? “Push past imposter syndrome and go for opportunities, even if you feel underqualified – you’re likely more ready and have more potential than you think.”
