Knowledge Transfer Adviser
Jan is a Knowledge Transfer Adviser covering North Lincolnshire, Hull and East Yorkshire. Jan supports knowledge transfer between busienss and academia through Innovate UK’s Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs).
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) connect businesses that have an innovation idea with the academic expertise to help deliver it. Jan’s role includes facilitating collaboration between businesses and research institutions, driving innovation and supporting economic growth.
Jan joined IUKBC after more than a decade developing partnerships with customers, and distributors working in the virtual reality healthcare training sector.
After training as a therapy radiographer, Jan worked clinically before moving into various roles within the radiotherapy industry covering sales, customer support, training, and product management. Jan moved the USA during her time in industry to experience international working, returning to the UK to take up another commercial role .
Jan has an MSc in radiotherapy, and an MBA from the Open University, and is a keen life-long learner and business mentor.
