This webinar is for organisations interested in applying to the CAM Pathfinder: Feasibility Studies 2 competition. The competition will provide up to £1.5 million to support feasibility studies that build robust business cases for the early commercial deployment of Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) services in the UK. If you are developing innovative CAM services and want to explore their viability, this session will guide you through the funding opportunity, scope, and requirements.
What is the funding for?
The competition funds feasibility studies that:
- Develop detailed business cases for CAM deployment opportunities in high-value areas.
- Show how services can operate commercially without safety drivers at a UK location.
- Provide evidence on UK supply chain opportunities, productivity benefits, and job creation.
- Identify barriers and steps needed to make CAM deployment investment-ready.
Projects must request between £100,000 and £250,000 in grant funding and last 6 to 9 months, starting from 1 April 2026.
Where does the funding come from?
This competition is funded by the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) and delivered by Innovate UK in partnership with Zenzic. Together, these organisations aim to accelerate UK leadership in Connected and Automated Mobility, ensuring safe, secure, and commercially viable deployments.
