About the event
This webinar is for organisations interested in applying to the CAM Pathfinder: Demonstrate competition. The competition provides up to £20 million to fund technology-focused R&D projects that develop and validate CAM-enabling products and services closer to market readiness.
If you are a technology developer, engineering consultancy, or service provider working on systems that enable self-driving vehicle operations, this session will guide you through the competition’s funding opportunity and expectations.
What is the funding for?
The competition supports projects that:
- Develop and demonstrate CAM-enabling technologies that advance UK capability toward Level 4 automation.
- Validate products and systems through testing in representative environments.
- Engage potential customers and operators to confirm market potential and commercial readiness.
- Enhance UK supply chain strength, productivity, and export potential.
- Showcase outcomes at future Cenex Expo events.
Projects must request between £500,000 and £2 million in grant funding, last 9 to 18 months, and start by 1 June 2026.
Where does the funding come from?
This competition is funded by the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) and delivered by Innovate UK in partnership with Zenzic. The programme accelerates the development of world-leading CAM technologies and strengthens the UK’s position in the global CAM supply chain.
