Cyber Security presents a constant threat to businesses, governments and individuals. To tackle it, we need a continuous pipeline of innovative solutions, many of which are born in academic labs throughout the UK.
To help those ideas emerge into the commercial world, the Cyber Academic Startup Accelerator Programme (CyberASAP) provides a unique package of support, expertise and mentoring to academic teams. The culmination of the programme is the Demo Day where the final teams pitch and demonstrate their Proofs of Concept products/services to investors and industry.
The Demo Day for the 2020/21 cohort is on Thursday 18 February (2pm-5pm) and you can register to attend here to preview Proofs of Concept developed by final 14 teams in CyberASAP.
The Demo Day is your chance to assess a diverse range of highly promising cyber security ideas, ready to be taken to the next stage on their commercialisation journey.
During the afternoon, each of the final 14 teams will give a three minute pitch of their idea; you will then have an opportunity to meet the teams informally as they demonstrate their products/services in their own digital showrooms within the Demo Day virtual venue.

Year 5 Funding Competition
Funding for CyberASAP 2021/22, starting in April 2021, is anticipated and we expect to be able to announce competition details shortly. If you would like to apply to participate, or be involved in any way, please register your interest here. We will make sure you’re the first to hear when the competition opens (likely to be in early February with a close date in early March).
