About the event

Innovate UK in partnership with Sensicon Ventures and Carbon Limiting Technologies (CLT) is hosting two linked events designed to accelerate investment and deployment in next‑generation low‑carbon concrete.

This first event, Procure, directly supports the Advance Market Commitment (AMC)  initiative delivered by Innovate UK, alongside the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and CLT, which aims to secure commitments for 500,000 m³ of next-generation low-carbon concrete from a coalition of public and private sector signatories.

The AMC launch signalled a clear shift in the UK’s low‑carbon concrete market. It showed the sector is ready to procure and deploy innovative low‑carbon concretes at scale. It also demonstrated collective commitment and clarified the market’s direction.

Procure sets out current demand, how it will grow, and practical routes to take an active role in the transition. It is designed for companies ready to deploy at scale. It brings them together with procurement teams, AMC signatories, and organisations exploring real‑world adoption and supply‑chain integration.

The event will take the format of sessions designed for engagement between scale investors and industry to accelerate commercial adoption of innovative sustainable building materials, along with a networking exhibition of curated venture stands, selected by the organisers.
