CyberASAP Demo Day 2026 - Discover the UK’s next-generation cyber security innovations

Now in its ninth year, CyberASAP (the Cyber Security Academic Startup Accelerator Programme) continues to turn academic research into real world cyber security products and services. The programme has already supported academics from more than 70 universities, generating 113 graduate projects, 42 companies and over £47m in follow-on funding, strengthening the UK’s pipeline of high growth cyber startups.

This year’s Demo Day features innovations addressing a broad spectrum of cyber security challenges, like ransomware detection, online safety for children, quantum secure communication, and cyber security solutions tailored for SMEs.

Attendees will have the chance to explore a curated showcase of CyberASAP alumni. These are teams that have progressed from early proof-of-concept to high potential spinouts, investment ready ventures and market launched cyber security solutions. This provides a rare opportunity to engage directly with founders and gain early visibility on commercially validated innovations emerging from UK universities.

The event will open with remarks from Dr Emma Fadlon, Co-Director of CyberASAP at Innovate UK Business Connect, who will highlight how Demo Day helps accelerate the journey from academic research to commercial impact.

The rest of the Demo Day will include an alumni showcase, giving investors and the current cohort an opportunity to network and learn from past successes, followed by the 14 pitches, and a networking session to provide an opportunity to discuss the pitches and make their cases for investment.
