Overview
Following the success of previous event, the Cross-Sector Battery Systems Innovation Network is holding its 3rd in-person industry showcase onthe 18th June 2026 in Leicester. This Showcase will link the battery supply chain with a broad set of end-user markets.
The Cross-Sector Battery Systems Innovation Network is a community that was launched in 2020 with a mission:
‘To create an open and collaborative cross-sectoral community for researchers and innovators in battery manufacturing (including next generation batteries), the related supply chain and end-users.’
With the community having now reached over 5,000 members, this event will provide a unique opportunity to meet new partners and collaborators across the battery ecosystem. Highlight opportunities and insights across sectors and technology areas, with discussions last year coveringsafety, supply chains, circular economy and next generation battery technologies.
Why should you attend?
This event aims to bring together representatives of the whole battery supply chain together with a diverse range of cross-sector markets (aerospace, defence, maritime, rail and automotive).

As part of the event, we will have a Cross-Sector Batteries exhibition spanning the Aerospace, Rail, Maritime, Defence, Maritime and Automotive sectors as well as the battery supply chainsuch as materials, manufacturing and testing.
