The problem and opportunity
The world is facing a human skills crisis. Traditional education neglects the human skills employers demand, leaving 65 million young people unemployed globally. Across workplaces, weak human skills erode performance, whilst existing ‘training’ solutions measure completion, not skills development or behavioural change. The WEF expects 22% of jobs to undergo structural change, highlighting the urgent need for human-centred capabilities in an AI era.
The solution and innovation
LEVRA is building the world’s first Human Skills Benchmark, measuring individual capability across 31 human skills to reveal strengths and gaps. The first version was validated at Oxford and is live with enterprise and university clients. We are now building on this to develop the world’s first ‘Fitbit’ for human skills, measuring, tracking and developing skills at scale to power personalised learning and the largest human skills dataset in existence.
Market and ambition
The UK loses £22bn a year from underinvestment in human skills. LEVRA works with organisations including Google, Deloitte, Milbank and the University of Oxford, where we are part of the Human Skills Leadership programme. By financial year 2027 (FY27) we target £1.6m revenue, 7,625 users. We are pursuing our first government contract.
Founder perspective
Emily is a TEDx speaker, one of the Top 50 UK Women in Tech, and Co-Founder of LEVRA. A former Finance Lawyer at Clifford Chance and Chair of Governors at Harris Clapham Sixth Form, Emily saw a gap between education and employment. In the AI era, Human Skills, such as judgment, empathy and collaboration are our competitive edge.
