About the workshop

This session is designed as an interactive workshop to help applicants strengthen their Future Leaders Fellowships application. Working alongside other applicants, attendees will review example application responses, discuss what makes a strong fellowship application and identify practical ways to improve your own submission. Throughout the session attendees will hear insights from Future Leaders Fellows and Innovate UK Business Connect specialists, helping them better understand what assessors are looking for. To ensure everyone can actively participate, places are limited.

Why attend?

This workshop will help applicants to:

  • Understand what makes a competitive fellowship application.
  • Identify common weaknesses and how to avoid them.
  • Practice reviewing application responses.
  • Gain practical advice you can apply to your own application
  • Ask questions of current Fellows and Innovate UK Business Connect specialists

This workshop is intended for applicants who have already started preparing their Future Leaders Fellowships application. To get the most from the session, attendees should have:

  • Read the competition guidance.

  • Started drafting your application.

If you are still deciding whether to apply or haven’t yet started your application, we recommend watching our previous applicant webinars (found via this link under ‘Briefing and support’) before attending this workshop.
