Overview
This networking and collaboration event, delivered though the Engineering Biology Innovation Network, will bring together the engineering biology community to explore partnership opportunities and develop ideas in preparation for the anticipated Innovate UK engineering biology funding calls within the UKRI Engineering Biology Priority Programme.
Attendees will gain valuable insight into Innovate UK priorities, future funding opportunities and the types of projects likely to be supported. The event will provide dedicated time for networking, discussion of project concepts and the development of partnerships.
There will be opportunities for attendees to showcase their expertise through short pitch sessions:
- Open-access infrastructure providers will showcase their capability and offering to UK SMEs who want to take engineering biology-inspired innovations from lab to commercial pilot-scale testing.
- A fast-paced “Give and Get” session will allow participants to briefly introduce themselves, and outline what they can offer and what they need. The session is limited to 30 minutes, so it will be first come, first served. This will be arranged at the event, so there’s no need to apply or create slides in advance.
Before the event, participants will be able to use the B2Match platform to create a profile, promote their expertise and interests, and arrange one-to-one meetings with potential collaborators.
Please note: Due to capacity, this event is restricted to two representatives from an organisation and we reserve the right to remove any additional registrations.
