I am the Knowledge Transfer Adviser for Liverpool, East Lancashire and Salford.

The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) support businesses to engage with expert academic teams on a project-based collaboration delivering sustainable innovation with positive economic impact and additional societal or environmental benefits. I look after businesses supporting their projects with knowledge bases in many parts of the country. I also maintain relationships with a number of designated universities in relation to their participation in the programme.

I have spent over 14 years supporting academic and industry partners to collaborate on strategic business-led projects, predominantly through KTP, but also across a broader range of activities including consultancy, contract research and collaborative R&D. My background is in business development, project management and writing collaborative funding proposals; linking companies from across many different industry sectors to academics spanning the breadth of the business, science and engineering disciplines.
