Achieving Sustainable Rural Communities: Engaging with SMEs
SMEs are invited to register their interest to work with Scottish Water on six key sustainability challenges
The Sustainable Rural Communities Project aims to enhance social, economic and environmental sustainability throughout the most remote communities in Scotland.
Scottish Water, in partnership with Atkins, have recently launched The Sustainable Rural Communities (SRC) project which they describe as a new way to engage and innovate with the SME community.
Split into to two phases that first analyses six key challenges which in turn will inform phase two actions and collaborative working.

Energy
Wastewater, Sludge and Waste
Online Telecommunications
Community Accessibility
Working Collaboratively
