The UK’s¬†Aerospace Technology Institute and Sweden’s innovation agency, Vinnova, are launching a joint ‚Ǩ9.46m funding call under the EUREKA Network Projects programme for¬†sustainable aerospace R&D projects¬†which have strong market potential for the UK and Sweden.

Applicants are expected to develop project proposals demonstrating alignment to the respective national aerospace strategies of the two countries:
- UK: Accelerating Ambition Technology Strategy 2019
- Sweden: NRIA Flyg 2020 – the Swedish aeronautical research and innovation agenda
The UK funding for this competition is provided under the ATI Programme, a joint government and industry investment to maintain and grow the UK’s competitive position in civil aerospace design and manufacture. The programme, delivered through a partnership between the Aerospace Technology Institute, Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and Innovate UK, addresses technology, capability and supply chain challenges.
