Syed Ahmed

I work as a Knowledge Transfer Manager in the Global Alliance team at Innovate UK Business Connect. I am part of a diverse team delivering Innovate UK Business Connect’s Global Expert Missions programme. The £1.5 million programme aims at further enhancing Innovate UK’s global strategy by providing evidence to support private/public funding and shape policy and the innovation landscape in the UK. I work with UK and international stakeholders across the value chain, from business and academic leaders to government organisations.

Before joining Innovate UK Business Connect, I worked as a Programme Manager leading several national and international research programmes across disciplines such as chemistry, biotechnology, healthcare and materials. I have worked closely with SMEs and MNCs by leading commercial and technology transfer projects in addition to working on consulting projects which included business intelligence, horizon scanning and investment strategies.
