Are you seeking private investment for an Agri-Tech innovation?
KTN will host an Agri-Tech Investment Showcase on 15th October 2018 London.
There is an ongoing need for private investment in Agri-Tech to further realise the sustained public investments and technical excellence within the UK. In recognition of this need, over the last 18 months the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) has prioritised supporting and building the Agri-Tech investment community.
In 2017 KTN’s Agri-Food Team hosted our¬†first AgriTech Investment event where we are aware of at least four companies receiving successful investment outcomes. To further¬†improve the 2018 programme and build on the success of last year‚Äôs showcase event we have collated comments by all those who participated and responded to their feedback. We have also recently held an investor-only event with discussions held on the desired aims and format for subsequent events and improved ongoing engagement.
The KTN Agri-Food Team are now hosting a second showcase event on 15th October at Prince Phillip House, Pall Mall, London, which will continue to support the business and investor communities to fulfil their ambitions and translate innovation into ongoing commercial benefits.
Watch highlights from a recent KTN event supporting the Agri-tech Investment community, and hear from Investors who are keen to meet Agri-Tech companies at our 2018 Agri-Tech Investment Showcase.
The Agri-Tech Investment Showcase event will enable up to 14 companies to present their investment opportunity to an audience of investors dedicated to targeting Agri-Tech opportunities from the UK. We have selected 15th October to coincide with the World Agri-Tech Summit, which is being held in London on 16th-17th October, providing a great opportunity for international investors to participate in both events and see some of the leading UK Agri-tech companies showcasing their business opportunities.
Apply to present at the showcase – deadline 4th June, 12:00
KTN are looking for innovative Agri-Tech companies to present at this event. Following a panel review of applications, a number of companies will be invited and encouraged to participate in the complimentary and voluntary Pitch Training Programme (11th July; pitch training and 12th September; pitch critique with video feedback), to be hosted by the KTN Access to Funding and Finance Team.
Following the invite to participate in the programme each company will be assigned a KTN Agri-Food Mentor, to help prepare their business plan and pitch. All participants must present their final pitch presentation to the KTN selection panel on 26th September to be eligible to be selected as one of the 14 companies to present at the Showcase on the 15th October.
All training will take place at the KTN London BDC office.
