Briefing dates announced for £10m Open Innovation Loans competition
Innovate UK is to offer up to £10 million in loans to SMEs for innovative late stage R&D projects.
Innovate UK and the Knowledge Transfer Network have announced the details of briefing events across the UK for the first of Innovate UK’s Open innovation loans competitions, which is now open for applications.

The launch event, with a live and recorded webinar will be at Cavendish Conference Centre in London on 30th April. Further briefing events will be held in:
Manchester, Studio Manchester – 2nd May
Birmingham, The Priory Rooms – 9th May
Cardiff, Tramshed Tech – 10th May

About Innovation Loans
Innovate UK is to offer up to £10 million in loans to SMEs for innovative late stage projects. The aim of this competition is to provide loans to help SMEs to undertake game-changing innovations with strong commercial potential across any sector or industry. Innovation loans will offer affordable, patient, flexible, repayable funding for later-stage research & development projects with a clear route to commercial success. We expect to run two further Open competitions for innovation loans during the course of this year.
