Discover the future of manufacturing at the Industry 4.0 Summit
The Industry 4.0 Summit aims to help businesses discover step-change in global manufacturing through the 4th industrial revolution.
Taking place in Manchester, the world’s first industrial city, Industry 4.0 Summit aims to help businesses discover step-change in global manufacturing through the 4th industrial revolution.
Held over 2 days, from 28th February to 1st March 2018, the key focus of the Summit is to explore the game changing innovations that are changing the way products are manufactured.  Currently only 48% of manufacturers consider themselves ready for Industry 4.0, and to remain competitive, thousands of manufacturers need knowledge, training and state-of-the-art information and communication technology to improve productivity, shorten product development cycles and mass produce customised products as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
Industry 4.0 brings together a wealth of industry expertise and knowledge from across multiple industries, including KTNs very own Head of Manufacturing Ben Peace, who will host a session entitled Innovation for Growth.  This session will bring together three manufacturers from different sectors who KTN have been helping through its 4Manufacturing initiative, proving a cost-effective, step-by-step approach to Industry 4.0 deployment.
The Summit is co-located with Factories of the Future, which will explore the concept of ‘the smart factory’ and allow factory owners, plant managers and manufacturing heads to discover the latest smart technologies and services available for them to successfully compete for the next 20 years of production.
