Healthcare and Space Funding Call Event
Technology currently used in the space sector can be used to help develop new solutions in health and medical applications.
On Tuesday 4 September KTN, SEHTA (South East Health Technologies Alliance) and MedCity are organising an event in London exploring how innovations originally designed for the space sector can be used in the health sector, and the funding available to support the application of new technologies and services.
From exploration to satellite communications, technology currently used in the space sector can be used to help develop new solutions in health and medical applications that improve NHS treatment and care.
There are open funding opportunities that aim to support new products and services, including £4m from the UK Space Agency in a joint initiative with the NHS to find high-tech solutions to major health and care challenges.
The event is part of the MedTech London programme and is supported by the GLA (Greater London Authority).
Places for the event are limited: to register your interest in attending, click here.  Applications will be reviewed and confirmations sent by 24 August.
