International Conference on Manufacturing of Advanced Composites – ICMAC 2018 will provide a forum for both academic and industrial delegates to share ideas and approaches and showcase world-leading manufacturing research for advanced composites, recognising and responding to industry needs.
The conference will be preceded by one day Hub/IDC open day on 10 July 2018, which will be free to attend – full details will be available shortly.
The conference on 11-12 July, will offer a mix of keynote papers presented by internationally renowned experts and presentations chosen from peer-reviewed abstracts, all of which will cover a diverse range of industry sectors.
Call for Papers Open – Abstract Deadline 28 February 2018
Abstracts may be submitted around five major themes:
1. High rate deposition and rapid processing technologies
2. Design for manufacture via validated simulation
3. Manufacturing for multifunctional composites and integrated structures
4. Inspection and in-process evaluation
5. Recycling, waste reduction, and re-use
Abstracts should be up to a maximum of 3 pages of A4, including references and up to 2 figures.
