KTN have invited Antonia to speak at Innovate 2017 on the topic of Immersive for the Creative and Other Industries.

We asked Antonia what the key message is from her talk at Innovate 2017 

The role Virtual Reality technology will play in the future is beyond our wildest imagination. For the UK to take a leading role in mainstreaming VR and its application there are a range of preconditions; the most important is to create a mind-set that nurtures truly creative thinking, to create an environment which actively enables daring experimentation and build the risk tolerance required to fully embrace a seriously disruptive technology.

The term malnutrition has come to encompass both under-nutrition and obesity; these disorders may be considered two sides of the same coin.  Enormous effort has been put into stemming the rising tide of global obesity that has emerged in recent decades.  However, translation of scientific knowledge into effective action can only be described as a failure; obesity has doubled since 1980.
