Register your interest for the Red Teaming phase of the UK side of the UK-US PETs prize challenges.
A call for those interested in competing as a Red Team on the UK side of the UK-US PETs (Privacy Enhancing Technologies) prize challenges is now open. Announced at the Summit for Democracy in December 2021, the prize challenges are a product of a collaboration between multiple government departments and agencies on both sides of the Atlantic, and aim to drive innovation in approaches to privacy-preserving federated learning. Delivery of the UK challenge is being managed by Innovate UK and the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation.
During this phase of the competition, Red Teams will be tasked with designing and executing privacy attacks against the solutions developed by ‘Blue Team’ participants. Full details of the red teaming process can be found on the competition page here, hosted by DrivenData who we are partnering with to run this phase of the challenge.
Applications will close at 11.59pm on 2nd December 2022.
If you are interested in this opportunity, register to compete as a Red Team on the UK side of the challenge by completing the form here.
The form includes signing of a data use agreement required in order to access the relevant datasets for the Challenge. Datasets will then be provided via the DrivenData platform once the application deadline has passed.
