Innovative solutions wanted to solve materials and manufacturing problems in the oil and gas industry

Materials and Manufacturing Roadshows will take place across the UK to help solve oil and gas manufacturing challenges.

ITF, The Oil & Gas Technology Centre and High Value Manufacturing Catapult have launched a series of Materials and Manufacturing Roadshows. The events will provide an interactive platform for registrants  to share ideas, create peer groups and ultimately accelerate the uptake of new technologies.

They are designed to bring a multitude of materials and manufacturing solutions to high level challenges faced by the oil and gas sector, focusing on 4 specific areas currently being addressed by the UKCS Technology Leadership Board; asset integrity, small pools, well construction, and decommissioning.

Roadshows will be held  in October in:

  • Glasgow – 10th October
  • Rotherham – 12th October
  • Bristol – 17th October
