Novel wound assessment video shortlisted for film contest

Innovenn’s Novel Wound Assessment Video has been shortlisted as part of Global JoVE Film your Research Contest.

The Innovenn entry for the JoVE Film your Research Contest has been successfully shortlisted. Over 30 countries have applied for this contest and Innovenn were the only UK entry to make the top 10, said Dr Emily Lewis who is the KTP Associate for the KTP project between Sheffield Hallam University and Innovenn Ltd.

Emily is currently working on embedding an analytical technique called mass spectrometry imaging with artificial skin models to assess the wound healing process between non-infected and infected models.

As part of her work at Innovenn, Emily entered the JoVE Film your Research Contest and has created a 2-minute video called “Novel Wound Assessment” explaining the project. This has been shorted listed as one of the top 10 videos in the competition and is now up for public vote. This project highlights opportunities of collaborations between universities and industry to really make a difference to society.

This is JoVE’s first-ever “Film Your Research” video contest and is being organised this year for science researchers to showcase their research around the world.
