Partnering webinar for UK-China collaboration to tackle antimicrobial resistance
KTN is hosting a partnering webinar to support potential participants in the UK-China collaboration to tackle AMR competition on 2 May, 0900 – 1100.
Innovate UK on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care is to invest up to £10 million of Official Development Assistance (ODA) funding in bilateral R&D projects between the UK and China which address the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance.
The competition aims to encourage innovative partnerships between the UK and China. This is to carry out novel projects that neither country would be likely to conduct, within the same timeframe, without the expertise of the other. These should result in new products and services to address antimicrobial infections in humans and in animals, providing that the infection being addressed constitutes a significant threat to human health.  For more information about the scope of the competition and eligibility requirements please visit Innovate UK’s competition page.
For other relevant presentations (including AMR presentations from UK and China, IP and FAQs), and to upload your profile to facilitate finding partners, please visit our Meeting Mojo page by clicking here.

To keep the webinar to two hours, a maximum of twenty 3-minute pitches will take place. If we receive over this number, we reserve the right to limit presentations on the day. This will be based on the order they were received, and also taking into account countries and interest in scope areas in order to ensure an even balance.
If your presentation is not selected for pitching during the webinar, we will let you know on Monday 30th April, 2018. Following the webinar, all presentations will be uploaded onto our Meeting Mojo Online Partnering Platform which supports potential applicants in finding partners for this competition.
