Sustainable Aviation Fuel for Clean Growth – a networking event to build the supply chain
Industry and researchers are invited to attend the Sustainable Aviation Fuel for Clean Growth networking event in Birmingham on 12 July 2018.
The event has been organised by KTN’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel Special Interest Group (SAF) and Sustainable Aviation. It aims to bring together the SAF supply chain, broker new connections and provide you with the context as to why the aviation industry needs SAF.
In addition to the networking opportunities, delegates will be briefed on a new competition in which fuel producers have the chance to acquire an Auxiliary Power Unit and receive technical consultancy and support for jet fuel testing. Other highlights include the launch of the new UK SAF Landscape Map and ‘Cleared for Offtake’ – a new resource to support fuel producers.
Rachel Solomon Williams, Head of Low Carbon Fuels at the Department for Transport will provide a policy update on Low Carbon Fuels and there will be a chance to hear from researchers on latest developments. More speakers will be announced shortly.
The event is free is attend and KTN is encouraging businesses and research organisations from any stage of the SAF supply chain to register to attend and make good use of the networking opportunities and get the latest industry information.
