Simon de Garis

As Knowledge Transfer Manager for Place, I can help Local Authorities who are looking to achieve their Net Zero goals, by engaging with our networks, supporting with partnership working, and providing opportunities to achieve their aims. I will be leading on our Net Zero Places Innovation Network and am looking to engage across the public sector.

I have spent a number of years working with Local Authorities, particularly around innovation and the development and innovation of new programmes, with a particular interest in EU and UK procurement. I have led on technology development programmes to support both public and private sector, and have spent several years working as a Charity Director.

I have also undertaken a PG Cert in Public Sector Management and Leadership and am currently underway with an MBA.

I will be looking after the Innovation Networks, supporting the public sector and partners to come together and collaborate. I am looking forward to getting involved in a wide range of projects across Innovate UK Business Connect.
