UK - China Innovation Partnering Brokerage Mission To China

Focused on Sensors and IoT sectors, 7 UK companies and 2 research academics, together with KTN and ICUK, visited China.

In collaboration with ICUK (QMUL), and Science & Technology Innovation Network of FCO, a UK-China Innovation Partnering Brokerage Mission was been jointly organised by KTN and ICUK. The UK participating delegates, together with KTN and ICUK, visited China between 10th and 14th September.

Focused on Sensors and IoT sectors, seven UK sensors and IoT technology companies and two relevant research academics formed the core part of the UK delegation.

During the mission, UK delegates participated two UK-China Innovation Partnering brokerage events, in Shanghai and Changzhou respectively, and attracted broad interests from local Chinese sensors, IoT and other end-user companies. Generating a number of leads in potential innovation partnering and collaborations, which are currently being followed up by relevant UK companies.

UK delegates visited numerous Chinese companies and innovation incubators, both in Shanghai and in Changzhou, during the mission. The UK delegation also participated in a Sensors Expo in Shanghai, showcasing their technologies at a UK pavilion at the show.
