About the event
11:00-12:30 EAT | 09:00-10:30 BST
FPEAK would like to find innovative ways to increase shelf life and enable longer transportation times for perishable goods. Their priority use would be sea freight of fresh produce and flowers from Kenya to Europe, which is an increasingly attractive option when compared to air freight, which has reduced in capacity and is increasingly costly. Up to GBP 25,000 seed funding (Subject to T&C) is available for successful applicants as well as the opportunity to pitch your solution to FPEAK members and many more benefits including support from Innovate UK KTN.
Who is the Session for?
Africa-based entrants, UK-based entrants and those from the rest of the world (RoW) are invited to apply. Solutions are invited from, but not limited to, the following sectors:
- Agriculture
- Packaging
- Manufacturing
- Marine
- Railways
- Transport logistics
- Gas supply
- Data capture
- Design
The webinar will give you the chance to learn all about the challenge area and hear answers from both the Global Alliance Africa Open Innovation Lead and the FPEAK team. It will help you to understand challenge details, as well as your eligibility, benefits and the application process.
We look forward to seeing you online!
