Global Insights: V2X bidirectional charging in California webinar

Hosted by Innovate UK, and in partnership with UK Science and Innovation (UK SIN), this webinar was recorded on 30 October 2023, and shared invaluable insights gained from a recent Innovate UK Global Expert Mission (GEM) to the US on electric vehicle charging which took place earlier in June.

Innovate UK, in collaboration with industry leaders and sector experts, visited leading public and private sector organisations in California to explore developments in vehicle-to-everything integration (V2X). This Expert Mission sought to foster global collaboration, facilitate technology transfer, and identify opportunities in sustainable transportation.

During this webinar, our panel of experts provided a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in V2X technologies, and share their insights and learnings gained from the GEM into the key technical and regulatory challenges, exciting opportunities, and implications for the future of electric vehicle smart and bi-directional charging both in the UK and California.
