We believe that accessing venture capital should not be limited to who you know or geography. At Innovate UK KTN we aim to reduce barriers to entry and support the creation of long-term, impactful and meaningful connections within the ecosystem.

About the event

To facilitate connections between innovators and investors in the Creative sector we’re hosting a virtual Investor Office Hours on Thursday 23rd November. These sessions will help to connect the dots between investors interested in opportunities within Creative Industries, and promising innovators looking to raise funds.

These sessions aim to facilitate a founder-driven environment where you will have the opportunity to:

• Make connections outside of Innovate UK KTN’s direct introductions
• Gain advice and seek feedback on company growth
• Gather guidance on how to take your next steps

Whilst this isn’t an opportunity to pitch for investment, this initiative aims to break down the traditional geographical and structural barriers with raising investment, with no warm introductions required.

The Create Growth Programme was launched in 2022 by the Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) in partnership with Innovate UK. It is designed to support the development of creative industries with high-growth potential across England, outside of London. The programme aims to drive innovation and investment in the sector.

Who are Investor Office Hours for?

The Office Hours are for companies that are in the process of raising capital and would benefit from connections to the early-stage investment community.
