Taking Security and Defence R&D to Market - help to shape the future

The security and defence (S&D) research and innovation landscape can be confusing and difficult to navigate. Innovate UK KTN is compiling a report of the security and defence R&D landscape to aid innovators in these sectors. 

The purpose of such a report is to provide clarity around the landscape, by defining the wider processes of taking R&D to market in these sectors. The report will be a reference document to aid anyone interested in engaging with or supplying research and innovation, to the national security and defence sectors.

This report will bring together all the process steps, from establishing user requirements, to ultimate end user acceptance. In undertaking this piece of work, improvements may be identified, and specific recommendations made.

The success of this report will be achieved through engagement with those active within the national security and defence communities. From academic institutions and independent researchers, micro and small businesses, to large primes, professional bodies, trade associations and government departments.

We are interested in hearing your views to ensure this product is as useful as possible.
