I am a Diversity and Inclusion Partner at Innovate UK Business Connect.

After working in the hospitality industry for 10 years and taking some time to expand my family, I entered the world of innovation. As someone with a passion for creativity in all of its forms, I really enjoy working in this space. Back in 2015, I joined the Business Support team before moving into Reach and Engagement and then following my passion for Diversity and Inclusion.

Diversity and Inclusion have always been important to me and my interest in people, their individuality and uniqueness, is what led me to make this my primary role. Having lived through many personal life experiences and learning from others, I am committed to creating an environment that is supportive and inclusive of everyone.

My main motto in life is simplicity – if there’s an easier way to achieve the same goal – don’t overcomplicate it.
