Research into the nitrogen vacancy (NV) within diamonds has demonstrated a big potential for future quantum devices and applications such as communication, computing and sensing. Diamond-NV based sensors are of particular interest in medical and healthcare devices thanks to their sensitivity to magnetic field changes at the nanoscale level. This unique capability opens several opportunities in precision and medical diagnosis contributing to enhanced patient care and accurate disease detection.

This webinar highlights the capabilities of NV diamond technologies by first introducing the technology and its challenges. This will be followed by case studies of using this technology in life science applications. Lastly, commercialising N-V diamond sensing technology for the healthcare sector will be presented.
