I lead the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Innovation Programme, working closely to build partnerships between technology developers, investors, airline operators, OEMs, and specialist technical service providers. Together, this collaboration supports the governments ambition to achieve at least 10% SAF in the UK aviation fuel mix by 2030.

My background includes a Master’s degree in Chemistry and I bring over nine years of industrial experience as an R&D chemist, having developed fuels and fuel-related technologies across a range of industries and applications. This gives me a strong technical grounding across chemistry and bio-chem pathways relevant to SAF production.

I am passionate about sustainability, the decarbonisation of aviation, and I am committed to continuous learning and open‑minded collaboration in this rapidly evolving sector as we work towards Net Zero.
