Just announced - Women in Innovation Programme partnership with Founders4Schools
The Women in Innovation programme works to promote female role models and business leaders to inspire the younger generation into innovation. We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Founders4Schools enabling our Women in Innovation community to inspire students up and down the country using the Founders4Schools digital platform.
Established in 2015 by serial entrepreneur, Sherry Coutu CBE, Founders4Schools is an award-winning educational-tech charity whose mission is to reduce the skills gap by facilitating and assisting the provision of inspirational careers education to young people, no matter their background, under the age of 25. We achieve this through the creation of a simple, free-to-use, digital platform that enables teachers in England and Scotland to connect with business professionals in their local communities to arrange a variety of career events for their students. This equips students with skills and career insights needed to succeed in the rapidly changing world of work.
Sherry Coutu CBE, Founder and Chair of Founders4Schools, said:
“By connecting these inspirational women with their local schools, we can raise the aspirations of the innovators of tomorrow and build a talent pipeline for the future.”
We soft-launched our partnership earlier this year with the view of offering the Women in Innovation community an easy and flexible opportunity to engage with schools, acting as role models for the next generation of innovators, and we are now able to invite the Women in Innovation community to sign up as volunteers.
We look forward to seeing many of you inspire young people to explore innovative career pathways!
