Event Overview

EU Missions are a new way to bring innovative solutions to some of our greatest challenges. They have ambitious goals and will deliver strong results by 2030. During this webinar, we will be focusing on the opportunities available to UK organisations under the following Horizon EU Missions:

1. 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030
2. Adaptation to Climate Change: support at least 150 European regions and communities to become climate resilient by 2030

The Horizon Europe EU Missions Work Programme 2023-2025 includes information about the next call for project proposals and budget details.

Why attend?

The Innovate UK event aims to inform potential UK applicants about the new topics included in the EU Missions and Cross-cutting Activities work programme 2024 and facilitate partnering with other potential applicants.

The UK National Contact Point and representatives of the Horizon EU Missions will give you detailed information on the areas of funding in the Annual Work Programme for 2024. This will be an opportunity for you to start thinking about which call topics are relevant to you to start planning and building your consortia for the next round of submissions. You will also have the opportunity to present your technology offer in line with the priorities of the Horizon Europe EU Missions Work Programme 2023-2025.

How to submit a pitch

Once you have registered you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to submit a pitch. Your pitch must feature on the 1 slide presentation template that we will send to you and must capture information on the challenge/innovation of your interest, how you expect to approach it, your capability offering, information on the partners you require and your contact details.
