Innovate UK Business Growth has in the recent past been the International Network Partner for Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) in the UK and aims to restart its partnership in 2026. Enterprise Europe Network is the European Commission’s main market access and innovation growth service, which connects participating peer organisations in over 65 countries worldwide. Please find more information about EEN below.

EEN’s ‘partnership opportunities database’ can help you to identify new opportunities for growth, forge business, technology and research partnerships and take your business to new European markets.

Please search for such opportunities below. Then make a note of the profile ID code and contact a local contact point in country who should be able to help you further (they might need to locate the specific team in country which posted the opportunity for the business).

When we are re-confirmed as an International Network Partner, you will be able to make a connection to the business with the opportunity and also create your own profile on the database to share an opportunity via your specialist or scaleup director. Until then, please check this page for an update on our status, or ask your specialist or scaleup director for an update. 

Please note that the partner opportunities database supports UK companies in making connections to organisations in countries who are part of the EU Single Market only. We have other ways to help clients internationalise beyond the Single Market depending on their needs, via our own connections with peer organisation across the world who provide us with access to local market knowledge and avenues to forge international partnerships.

Enterprise Europe Network was launched by the European Commission in 2008 and it is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized (SMEs) with international ambitions. It helps businesses across more than 65 countries worldwide to innovate and grow on an international scale.

EEN includes 600 member organisations and brings together over 3,000 business innovation specialists. Member organisations worldwide include:

Innovate UK Business Growth was a longstanding full member of EEN and became an International Network Partner member after the UK’s exit from the EU. This has included participating in expert groups covering key economic sectors from healthcare to agri-food and from intelligent energy to fashion and textiles.

Our membership as an International Network Partners is undergoing the renewal process and until it is confirmed, we are unable to use EEN connections and tools such as the partnership opportunities database.
