The Sustainable Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Programme, delivered by Innovate UK, will focus on innovation in sustainable medicines manufacturing to support global net zero commitments.
The programme will drive collaboration between organisations throughout the medicines manufacturing supply chain to stimulate innovation for sustainability improvements with the alignment to three core pillars:
- Green chemistry
- Circularity
- Productivity and resource efficiency
As well as two critical enablers:
- Regulation
- Measurements, standards and data
We are running workshops across the UK to allow engagement with the Innovate UK team, to learn more and ask questions about the programme and network with potential collaborators.

- Glasgow (20 Aug, 11am-1pm)
- Stevenage (22 Aug, 11am-1pm)
- London (3 Sep, 11am-1pm)
- Teddington (5 Sep, 11am-1pm)
- Darlington (6 Sep, 10am-noon)
In addition, we are running an online networking event to help interested parties’ network with potential collaborators across the UK. This will take place on 11 Sep, 11am-noon.
