Over the last 10 years, Innovate UK’s ICURe programme has become the UK’s leading programme for the commercialisation of university research, as part of our support for pathways from start-up to scale-up.

Innovate UK’s ICURe programme has transformed the landscape of university research commercialisation in the UK. Having supported over 700 research teams and facilitated the creation of more than 300 spinout companies, ICURe has unlocked over £500 million in investment, providing unmatched opportunities for early-stage ventures.

At this special anniversary event, we will reflect on the programme’s success, showcasing how ICURe has empowered university spinouts to find markets, customers, and investment. We will also unveil ICURe’s new strategic vision, positioning it to continue leading research commercialisation into the next decade.
