Industry and research-based expertise in farming innovation
The Farming Innovation Programme Accelerating Development of Practices and Technologies (ADOPT) scheme targets smaller-scale, farmer-led R&D projects to trial and demonstrate the on-farm viability of new and existing technologies, processes and practices to address immediate on-farm productivity and sustainability challenges.
All projects applying for ADOPT competitions must include a Project Facilitator to support project delivery and management. Innovate UK Business Connect have compiled this directory of individuals who have the skills to carry out this role.
The Farming Innovation Programme is part of Defra’s investment in innovation, research and development. Defra is partnering with Innovate UK to fund projects that benefit farmers, growers and foresters in England.
How the project facilitator could support your application
Acting as a project manager for the duration of the project
Helping to prepare administrative documents (i.e. reporting documents)
Ensuring that the project remains on track and that communication is maintained
Providing expertise in order to help ensure the project is a success
