Event Details
Building Talent for the Future 2 competition is supporting the creation and delivery of course content and materials to support skills and training across PEMD manufacturing and supply chains. It will also encourage close collaboration between industry and the training sector to identify and fill key gaps in the UK’s workforce talent and training capabilities.
This competition will be in two phases – the purpose of this briefing is as an Expression of Interest and will be later followed by the Full Scale Project competition launched in March 2022. Participation in the Expression of Interest is required for projects with likely costs in excess of £50K, however, for projects under £50K an open special drawing rights strand will be available that does not require participation in the Expression of Interest.
Building Talent for the Future 2 competition is linked to the recent PEMD Skills Hub competition, which will support the development of a central PEMD focused Skills Hub. This will provide signposting and access to existing and new training courses for learners & businesses, materials for educators, and engaging information for outreach – including courses developed through this Building Talent for the Future 2 competition.
