Join an in-person ‘Cohort Building and Networking’ event to pitch your expertise and interest to other organisations considering the £12 million SEMIconductors competition.
Overview
As part of UKRI Building the Future Economy Plan-for-Action, semiconductors have been identified as a key enabling technology and one of the five transformative technologies for the modern world.
The Skills, Education, Manufacture Innovations for Semiconductors programme (SEMIconductors) has been developed in close alignment with the UK National Semiconductor Strategy, investing up to £18 million to support the domestic manufacturing landscape and workforce development.
At the end of 2023, there will be a further competition with up to £12 million for up to 12-month duration projects. For those interested in this upcoming CR&D competition there will be two Cohort and Networking events for the semiconductor community, existing project participants, and organisations.
