DASA - Funding Opportunities Webinar
KTN in collaboration with the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) would like to invite you to join an online briefing event on Monday 12th October 2020. You will have the opportunity to hear about the DASA open competition and discover how your company’s ideas could be applied to improving the defence and security in the UK via this funding.

DASA seeks ideas from a range of sectors, and applicants may be new to DASA and not have supplied Defence or security sectors previously. DASA has more recently funded projects: to reduce counterfeiting of banknotes; to enable the Army to use autonomous technology to cross rivers; to reduce the impact of windfarms on radar and bio processing waste liquids.
DASA achieves this by identifying and funding the most novel and desirable ideas from industry and academia.
The Open Call is open for proposals all year round, with assessment dates scheduled across the year.
DASA themed Competitions exist to offer suppliers the opportunity to submit proposals around specific government areas of interest. Themed competitions may only run for a short time and have set closing dates. DASA has had various themed competitions covering a range of topics. For details on past competitions, please see here.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) competitions and the type of innovations DASA is seeking.
The webinar is aimed at the existing (and maybe recent past) KTP project partnerships (incl. Universities, Companies, Associates) in the UK, primarily the Y&H and NE regions.
To those who are interested to find out if their innovative ideas, concepts, technology or service can help to improve the defence and/or security of the UK.
