The world of artificial intelligence (AI) and business growth is evolving quickly. In the face of some stark statistics identifying unique challenges for women-led and women-owned businesses in AI or adopting AI, Innovate UK is hosting an event that aims to suggest ways of addressing challenges such as investment, market diversification, and nurturing talent and skills in AI.

During the event you’ll also have the opportunity to hear about initiatives to support women in business, including Innovate UK’s No Limits and Inclusive Innovation programmes.

Innovate UK is dedicated to breaking down barriers such as AI startups founded by women capturing limited funding deals (Beauhurst, 2024), and female business owners feeling less equipped with the skills and confidence to implement AI in their businesses.

This event informs both suppliers and consumers of AI of the support and opportunities available to address and reduce some of these challenges, and empowering women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.

We invite women business leaders and owners from across the UK to join us for a transformative event that celebrates International Women’s Month and provides:

• Actionable insights on scaling your business and accessing new markets
• Opportunities to connect with investors and understand how to source talent to accelerate your success
• Awareness of available support to suppliers and consumers of AI, including IUK system support, and talent
• Inspiring networking opportunities with women leaders and innovators.

Please keep in mind that while the registration is open to all, the event is primarily aimed at women-led businesses and women owners or those in leadership positions.

During the registration, attendees will be able to indicate whether they wish to have a 2-minute pitch around their activity, objectives and needs in terms of support and collaborations.
