About the programme
Innovate UK’s Energy Catalyst programme is one of the UK’s biggest energy access focused grant funding initiatives. The Energy Catalyst Round 10 funding competition, which is now open, is a £10 million fund, available for organisations working to create new or improved clean energy solutions for target regions and each collaborative project can apply.
The aim of this competition is to accelerate the innovations needed to create new or improved clean energy access in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia or Indo-Pacific regions. Creating a just and inclusive energy transition, and extending the benefits of clean energy to all to meet sustainable development goals (SDGs) 7 and 13.

In line with its mandate to provide efficient energy solutions to Africa’s myriad of energy challenges through the deployment of innovative technology and business models, the Global Alliance Africa Project, delivered by Innovate UK KTN, will host a hybrid informative Energy Catalyst briefing and brokerage event, to give you all the information you need in order to understand if the Energy Catalyst Round 10 funding call opportunities are right for you, how to apply, and will also allow plenty of time for networking and Q&A.
Energy Catalyst Round 10 funding is now open with a deadline of 28 June 2023. To be in scope for Energy Catalyst round 10 your project must address both energy access and clean energy.
