Innovate UK’s Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) helps innovative SMEs to collaborate and explore global markets, accelerating business growth.
During the session, you will:
- learn more about the Global Business Innovation Programme
- learn about Advanced Connectivity Technology opportunities in India
- be provided with guidance on how to complete and submit an online application form
- have the option to submit questions to the Global Business Innovation Programme panel
Innovate UK in collaboration with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) will fund and organise flights, accommodation, in-market travel and conference fees for successful applicants, who will also benefit from an intensive 9 to 12 months, three phased programme and bespoke support from an innovation and growth specialist throughout.
Note: This opportunity is fully funded support only, there is no monetary funding.
The Global Business Innovation Programme, organised by Innovate UK, will include a ‘Get ready’ preparation phase followed by a market visit to India, including a 5-day tailored programme to connect with businesses, research organisations and other key stakeholders, followed by an ‘Exploit the opportunity’ workshop. This programme will be delivered in-person.
Targeted telecoms sectors:
- Artificial Intelligence – advanced AI tools to optimise networks, improve efficiency, and unlock new services
- Non-Terrestrial Networks – developing satellite and airborne systems to deliver reliable, high-speed connectivity, including to rural and remote areas
- Cyber Security – strengthening network security, to make communication systems more resilient and more reliable for businesses and consumers
