About the event
Innovate UK is building a Growth Cohort of ambitious businesses developing solutions to decarbonise concrete.
Concrete is central to the built environment, and the UK must rapidly scale low carbon concrete solutions to meet its 2050 net zero targets. While innovation in this space is strong, many businesses face challenges when moving from early traction to commercial deployment and scale.
The Next Generation Low Carbon Concrete Growth Cohort introduces a new approach to supporting businesses in this crucial growth stage. Instead of a one-off funding award, it combines funding with longer-term access to tailored support and further funding opportunities, helping businesses progress towards investment and market adoption.
This briefing event will explain how the Growth Cohort works, what support is available at different stages, and how businesses can apply into the entry competition.
Who can apply
UK-based businesses that:
- are developing low-carbon concrete solutions
- have started to build traction in the construction industry
