Overview

Immerse UK is excited to host the Immerse UK Awards 2024 University Tour following the success of the inaugural Immerse UK Awards 2023, which celebrated two grand prize internship and five category winners. This series of networking events across the UK will highlight information about the 2024 awards ahead of the competition launch in January and share the impact of the 2023 awards.

​The Immerse UK Awards is a new initiative launched to address the talent pipeline challenge in the fast-growing immersive tech sector, supported by the founders and advisory board of Immerse UK and its Academic Working Group.  ​

Abertay University

The event is hosted at Abertay cyberQuarter, an initiative which brings together students, academics, and organisations to help solve global cybersecurity challenges. It aims to increase technical problem solving for industry, industry-academia collaboration, and access to cyber employment opportunities.
