Innovate UK will invest up to £7.5 million in the Medicines Manufacturing: Labs of the Future competition. This applicant briefing webinar introduces the competition scope, timelines, eligibility criteria, and expectations for applicants.
The competition is open from 13 April to 27 May 2026 (read more about the available funding here) and supports the development and adoption of digital, automated, data-driven and robotic technologies to accelerate pharmaceutical process development and manufacturing. These innovations contribute directly to the vision of future-ready, efficient, digitally enabled labs for medicines development and manufacturing.
